Quilt Invitational
"Threads of Courage"
The 2009 Gig Harbor Quilt Festival theme was "Threads of Courage" and we are proud to host a quilt invitational by local artists. Twenty-six quilts were received this year. The quality and artistry is exceptional and a credit to the local artists. The quilts will be displayed in various Gig Harbor locations this summer. They will be featured as a complete exhibit at the Civic Center, 3510 Grandview Street, Gig Harbor, WA 98335 (253-851-8136) from August 24 through October 1, 2009, with an artists' reception open to the public at that location on August 25, from 6:00 – 8:00 PM. Each quilt will be auctioned at
the October 17, 2009 luncheon, with 100 percent of the proceeds
